Booking and Reservation
Booking Process
To reserve a skip, customers must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. This includes the desired skip size, rental period, and site address. Bookings are subject to availability, and we recommend securing your reservation in advance, especially during peak seasons.
Confirmation
Upon successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation email detailing the reservation specifics. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information provided in the confirmation.
Payment Terms
Pricing
Our skip hire services are priced based on the selected skip size, rental duration, and any additional services requested. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but the quoted price at the time of booking shall remain binding.
Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment is required in full at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
Invoices
Customers will receive an electronic invoice upon payment. All payment-related queries should be directed to our billing department within 7 days of invoice issuance.
Rental Period
Duration
The rental period commences on the date the skip is delivered to the site and concludes when the skip is picked up. Extensions to the rental period may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
Punctuality
Customers must ensure access to the site is available at the agreed delivery and pickup times. Delays caused by the customer may result in additional fees.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking cost.
Refund Process
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request. The refund will be issued using the same payment method initially used for the booking.
Customer Responsibilities
Site Preparation
Customers must ensure that the site is suitable for skip placement. This includes having sufficient space, a flat surface, and appropriate access for skip delivery and pickup. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions from property owners or local authorities.
Waste Disposal
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all waste placed in the skip complies with local regulations and is suitable for skip disposal. Hazardous materials, such as asbestos, chemicals, and certain electronics, are strictly prohibited.
Load Capacity
Customers must adhere to the specified load capacity of the skip. Overloading the skip can result in additional charges or refusal of pickup, leading to potential legal liabilities.
Company Responsibilities
Delivery and Pickup
Bethnal Green Skip Hire commits to delivering and picking up skips at the agreed times. In the event of unforeseen delays, such as extreme weather or transportation issues, we will notify the customer promptly and arrange an alternative schedule.
Skip Maintenance
All skips are maintained to ensure they are in good condition and safe for use. Customers should report any damages or issues with the skip immediately upon delivery.
Liability Limitations
Damage to Property
While we take utmost care during skip delivery and pickup, Bethnal Green Skip Hire shall not be liable for any accidental damage to the customer’s property arising from the placement or removal of the skip.
Indirect Damages
The company is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our skip hire services.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bethnal Green Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that area.
Amendments
Bethnal Green Skip Hire reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or through our official communication channels.
